Origin: Supraspinous fossa of scapula
Insertion: Superior facet of the greater tubercle of the humerus
Actions: Abduction of arm
Innervation: Suprascapular nerve (C5, C6)
Blood Supply: Suprascapular artery from the thyrocervical trunk and the dorsal scapular artery.
