Origin: Lateral epicondyle of the humerus
Insertion: Dorsal surface of the base of the third metacarpal
Actions: Extension of the wrist
Innervation: Radial nerve (C6, C7)
Blood Supply: Radial recurrent artery from the radial artery

Agonists:

Antagonists:
- Flexor Carpi Radialis
- Palmaris Longus
- Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
Extensor digitorum, extensor digiti minimi, and extensor pollicis longus assist with extension of the wrist.
2. Radial Deviation of the wrist
Agonists:
- Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus
- Flexor Carpi Radialis
Antagonists:
- Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
- Extensor Carpi Ulnaris
Extensor pollicis brevis and abductor pollicis longus assist with radial deviation of the wrist
