Abductor Digiti Minimi Origin and Insertion (Foot Muscle)

Origin: Medial and lateral tubercles of the calcaneus, the plantar aponeurosis, and the intermuscular septum

Insertion: Lateral side of the base of the proximal phalanx of the fifth toe

Actions: Abduction of the fifth toe

Innervation: Lateral plantar nerve (S1, S2, S3)

Blood Supply: Lateral plantar artery

  • Fexor Digitorum Brevis
